The Board
Our 11 member Board is appointed by the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and has representatives from the farming organisations, the food industry, the universities, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Teagasc staff.
The Authority meets on the first Wednesday of every month except in August and normally has a two-day meeting in January of each year. The Authority also has sub-committees as follows: Remuneration Committee, Audit Committee, Research Committee, Advisory/Training Committee and Finance/Property Committee.
