Ewe Flock Size 180 crossbred ewes (Belclare-X, Texel-X, Suffolk-X, Cheviot-X)
Ram Breeds Texel, Suffolk, Belclare, Charollais
Flock Replacements Homebred, 57 (Belclare-X and Texel-X)
Earliest lambing ewes (50% of flock) housed for winter and remainder are extensively grazed until the point of lambing.
All ewes are lambed indoors.
Ewe lambs are put to the ram for 1 week.
Lambing starts in mid February
Lambs reared per ewe to ram (‘08 season)
