Dairy Efficiency Programme
The Dairy Efficiency Programme (DEP) is a programme designed to promote farmer participation in discussion groups. Participants will all be dairy farmers and the programme will promote them to adopt best practice in:
- Grassland Management - Autumn Grazing Planner (73KB, Word Format)
- Breeding
- Financial Management - Five Year Physical Planner - Dairy (84KB Excel Format)
The Programme is open to existing members of dairy discussion groups and to dairy farmers wishing to join groups for the first time. All participants will be required to attain a specified standard in relation to attendance and project work. Progress will be monitored by a group facilitator, who will certify each individual’s compliance with the requirements. The rate of payment will be determined by the numbers participating in the Programme.
