Directions

Air: Carlow is a convenient 70 min drive from Dublin airport, with a major international airlines serving the capital city. Alternatively public transport direct to Carlow is available from airport and Dublin City centre, see below.

Rail: Services operate between Dublin-Heuston (located in the city centre) and Carlow, journey time approx. 1 hour, see www.irishrail.ie for further information.

Road: Regular bus services operate between Dublin airport and city and Carlow, see www.jjkavanagh.ie for timetables, journey time approx. 1 ½ hours. If driving take M50 southbound exiting for M7 and eventually M9 (Carlow-Waterford).

Abstract

No further offers of oral presentations can be accepted, but for late offers of posters, please e-mail abstracts to potatoes@teagasc.ie (following the guidelines for abstract preparation 19KB PDF Format).


Guidelines for presentations and posters

Presentations can be uploaded to the conference laptop at registration. Please provide the presentation on a USB memory stick and insure it is compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint. Presentations are scheduled to be 15 minutes long, with 5 minutes allocated to questions/discussions.

Space is available for A0 (portrait) sized posters. Posters will be on display for the duration of the conference.
