Teagasc Appoint Marketing and Business Development Manager

Teagasc has announced the appointment, with immediate effect, of Larry O'Loughlin as marketing and business development manager for Advisory and Training services in the organisation.

Larry is responsible for leading the marketing of the new advisory service and the new entrant and adult courses run by Teagasc. He will also liaise with Teagasc stakeholders including farmer clients, farm organisations, the agri-industry and statutory bodies.

The new Advisory and Training marketing and business development manager comes to the post from his present position of regional education adult officer. Prior to that, he held the posts of acting head of Public Relations and Customer Communications, chief agricultural officer in counties Wicklow and Kildare and advisor in Laois and Kilkenny. He will be based in the Teagasc centre Portlaoise.
