Factsheets
The Rural Development Unit has published a series of concise fact sheets on a range of potential additional sources of income aimed at rural dwellers.
The Fact Sheets are intended as a starting point for the farmer who may be interested in diversifying. Each fact sheet gives a general introduction to the topic, outlines the market, important requirements, typical costs and typical returns. Factsheets will be updated and new factsheets will be developed on an ongoing basis.
