Activities
The availability of things to do is the single most important factor when tourists are deciding on a holiday destination. Accommodation is secondary and only features in the recollection of the visitor if it’s of very good or very bad quality. Quality accommodation is taken as a basic essential.
Activities are the core of the holiday and are the most important factor when someone is selecting a holiday. The activity may not necessarily be very strenuous, for some an activity may be the opportunity to relax and read a book. The facility to do this is important. Some activities do not yield high returns and demand volume for profitability as opposed to accommodation. Accommodation demands higher investment. The ideal situation is where a farmer can provide both. There are numerous successes in this area examples include:
| Walking | Health Farms | Painting Courses |
