Clonakilty Agricultural College

Facilities

Clonakilty Agricultural College is a non-residential college. Students acquire accommodation in the vicinity and in Clonakilty town. An accommodation list is available from the college. Good opportunities for accommodation are available for the winter months, as tourist accommodation becomes vacant.

The facilities at the college include a student and staff canteen, library, study facilities, and full multimedia equipped lecture theatres. Students of the Degree courses have all the facilities of the Cork Institute of Technology available to them.

Recreational facilities include TV, video, pool, table tennis, basketball, indoor football, gym and a playing pitch for hurling, Gaelic football and soccer. There is also a swimming pool complex within easy reach of the college. The college has two suites of 20 computers, library and the video-conferencing centre is a seat of communication of West Cork with institutions and conferences world-wide

Students take part in Macra na Feirme and inter college sports competitions
