Certificate in Golf Course Management

This course provides the skills for Golf Course Superintendents and Head Greenkeepers who manage or are in senior positions on golf courses.

Teagasc, Kinsealy Research Centre, Malahide Road, Dublin 17

Course Duration

Two years block release

Course Structure

Five three-day sessions per year in the centre with a large element of home study and project work. There are five modules:

• Financial Management
• Human Resource Management
• Ecology and Environmental Management
• Golf Course Management
• Laboratory Techniques and Surveying

Successful students are awarded the FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Golf Course Management
