Oireachtas Members’ Enquiries

Members of the Oireachtas seeking information relating to Teagasc should email their enquiries to oireachtas@teagasc.ie.

Standards

Our target deadlines for responding to queries from Oireachtas members are:

Acknowledgement, including contact details of the official dealing with the query: 2 working days
Substantive reply: 14 working days

Appeals

Should you wish to make an internal appeal, you may do so by email to the Director of Teagasc (frank.omara@teagasc.ie).

Should you wish to make an external appeal to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, please inform us and it will be brought to the attention of the relevant Department officer.

Feedback and Reporting

Teagasc will undertake periodic surveys to obtain feedback from Oireachtas members who avail of this service, and will report on compliance with the standards outlined in our Annual Report.
