Courses Kerry Limerick Region
TEAGASC Kerry Limerick delivers a range of courses to new entrants and to existing farmers. The Specific Purpose in Farm Administration course is offered on a Distance Education option at the Teagasc Kilmallock. The course is also offered as an Adult Part-Time Direct Contact Course at Killarney. The Course is delivered over a 2 year period and applicants must be over 23 years of age to enrol.
Internet training for farmers, Farm Safety Courses, Grass Management, Infrastructure and Financial Planning courses are also offered. In 2019, we are also planning short courses in Managing People on Dairy farms, Dairy start up, Best practices in milking skills. Practical Skill Training and Farm Management Practice training takes place on Benchmark and Host Farmers farms in Kerry Limerick.
