Courses Tipperary Region
TEAGASC Tipperary delivers a range of courses to new entrants and to existing farmers. The Specific Purpose in Farm Administration course is offered on a Distance Education option at the Teagasc Thurles Centre. The course is also offered as an Adult Part-Time Direct Contact Course at Kildalton College and Gurteen College which are located at either end of the County. The Course is delivered at night over a 2 year period and applicants must be over 23 years of age to enrol.
Internet training for farmers, Farm Safety Courses, Options, Grass Management and Financial Planning courses are also offered. Practical Skill Training and Farm Management Practice training takes place on Benchmark and Host Farmers farms in Tipperary.
