Tullamore Show
We had alot of visitors to our Teagasc stand at this year’s Tullamore Show - it truly was an amazing success and probably the busiest we have ever been, with our water pump demonstration being of huge interest.
We received a lot of positive feedback from our visitors about our water quality themed display. It is great to see all the hard work rewarded with such positive feedback.
Sustainable Grassland Farmer of the Year farm walk
A large crowd attended the Sustainable Grassland Farmer of the Year farm walk which was held on the farm of Co. Cavan farmer, and Teagasc client, Killian Brennan, last Wednesday, 4th September.
Killian was a joint winner of the 2023 nutrient management category with his success largely attributed to exceptional soil fertility and the widespread incorporation of clover across the farm.
