Colombia

At the request of the Irish Embassy in Mexico, Professor Gerry Boyle and Dr Mary Ryan undertook a scoping mission to Colombia between 1th-20^th July 2018 to support the Colombian Government in the development of an integrated rural development strategy for regions impacted by the 50 year armed conflict which destabilised the country and causing the deaths of over 200,000 of people and the forced internal displacement of more than 5 million people.
