Project Title: Milking and energy efficiency of large and expanding dairy farms

Overview: I am a graduate of Sustainable Energy Engineering in Cork Institute of Technology with experience in the energy and construction industries. My interest in optimised energy systems was a key factor in why I undertook this study. This project will investigate optimisation methods for milking and energy efficiency on dairy farms with 200 or more cows with a variety of milking parlour types and layouts.
