Project Title: Examination of the production and milk quality implications of a 95% grass fed dairy system.
Overview: This project is primarily about viewing the seasonality effects of a pasture based system on the composition, quality and processing qualities of bovine milk throughout a full lactation. I am interested in this area of study as I feel it will provide me with an opportunity to learn new skills while also promoting the Irish ‘grass based’ dairy practice having come from a dairy farm myself.
When I am not studying, I enjoy playing football for my local G.A.A. club.
