Project Title: The Application of Robotics and Sensors for Post-Process Evaluation and Optimal Rehydration of Dairy Powders - "CoBoT for Dairy Quality"
Overview: My name is Behrad Mozafari and I am from Iran. I am a Ph.D. student based in Teagasc Moorepark and registered in the department of Electronic Engineering at Maynooth University. Robotics and Computer Vision and its implementation in different industry sectors are my main interests. The food sector is a fast-growing industry that plays a key role in improving human lives and this is why I am interested in pursuing my study in this area of research.
My PhD project is called “CoBoT for Dairy Quality”, the main objective of it is to develop new methods using robotics and sensors for measuring the mixing properties of dairy powders. Robots can perform repetitive tasks without getting bored and can help people in a large variety of settings. I hope my research will pave the way to access sustainable, healthy and affordable food resources.
When I am not researching, I am probably running, photographing, or playing harmonica, as I love sport and art.
