Project Title: Essays on labour input and production efficiency on Irish dairy farms
Overview: The main aim of my research is to measure labour and production efficiency on Irish dairy farms in recent years. This topic is interesting because the structural change experienced in the sector since the milk quota abolition in 2015 brings major challenges to dairy farmers and policy makers regarding the labour input on Irish farms.
