Project Title: Facilitating and enabling drystock farmers to engage in short value chains in Kerry
Overview
This study will examine how a drystock farming community in Kerry can adapt a short food chain model (specifically that of Ballymaloe cookery school) and the factors required to do so while also documenting the process which they use to create a short food chain model which reflects on the physical landscape, culture and skills of the community and local area.
