Science Week 2022 - Friday

The Festival of Farming and Food

Kids' Corner: Say Cheese - Friday, November 18 | 11am - 12pm

Have you ever wondered why milk is white or how cheese is made?

On this webinar which took place on Friday, 18 November as part of Science Week, host Jonathan McCrea was joined by Teagasc’s food scientists who took us into the research labs at Teagasc Moorepark and answered kids’ questions on why common dairy products in our fridges like milk, cheese and yoghurt, taste, look and smell like they do and what happens if we leave them too long.

Primary schools from across Ireland had their chance to ask our scientists questions.
