Project Title: Towards Meat Industry 4.0 - technologies for improved efficiency in red meat processing
Overview: Jyoti is experienced in the area of computer vision, image processing and sensor development for food quality determination. He has extensive experience developing sensors for food systems in food- based industries for more than 10 years and currently pursuing his PhD research on A Meat Technology Ireland linked project at Teagasc in association with MTU. His project is highly focussed towards technology development to facilitate Meat Industry 4.0, and he is applying sensors, hyperspectral imaging, machine learning including artificial intelligence approaches. As part of his research, he is developing novel methods for improving the efficiency in red meat processing.
