Project Title: Economic and Environmental Efficiency of Irish and EU Agriculture

Overview: Ir. Nur Mozahid is an Agricultural Economist. He is interested in answering questions regarding sustainability, agricultural productivity and resource-use efficiency. He is currently working at Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy (AEP) Group, Wageningen University and Research (WUR), The Netherlands as a PhD researcher on “Economic and Environmental Efficiency of Irish and EU Agriculture”. In this case, Prof. Justus Wesseler, Koos Gardebroek (WUR) and Fiona Thorne (Teagasc, Ireland) are jointly supervising him. Before joining as a PhD researcher at WUR, he received his second master’s degree in Environmental Sciences (Environmental Economics) in 2021 from the same university. He has also earned his Bachelor’s and first master’s in Agricultural Economics from Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet, Bangladesh.
