HeadshotProject Title: Re-evaluation of Nitrogen Protein Conversion Factors.

Overview: Nitrogen – protein conversion factors are widely used throughout the wider food industry. By helping calculate (and therefore defining) the amount of protein in foods, they have critical economic and nutritional significance. Tim’s project aims to recalculate these factors for different dairy products, ensuring accurate and nutritionally relevant factors are available for the dairy industry to use. Tim has previous dairy research experience, having worked in New Zealand for Synlait Milk Ltd, helping develop superior processing technologies for producing ambient stable, liquid infant formulas.
