Farming system: Store to finish. Traditional breeds Angus and Hereford steers

Farm Plan: Billy aims to increase to 250 stores finished annually, an increase from 150 previously. Stores are bought at between 400-450kg and finished at around 610kg. Focus will be on increasing output from grass, aiming to grow up to 14 tonne of Dry Matter per hectare and to reduce the amount of meal fed per head.
