Farm Plan: The main aim of the farm plan is to increase output from grass. Calving spread has slipped over the years so Michael is aiming to tighten this up to a 10 week period. This will hopefully help Michael achieve close to the target of €1000/ha gross margin. Michael will focus more on gain from grass to reduce concentrate and silage usage and reduce variable costs on farm.
