Winners

Adult Category Overall Winner - Geraldine Gill

The overall winner in the adult category was Geraldine Gill from Crossmolina, Co. Mayo. Geraldine submitted a photograph of their mixed 30 cow pedigree/commercial unit in Crossmolina, Co. Mayo. Geraldine captioned the photo 'Peace and quiet below Nephin Mountain.'

Adult Category Runner Up - Ronan Delany

Ronan Delany, along with his daughters Eppie and Esmae, from Dunshaughlin, County Meath was the runner up in the Adult Category. They captioned their photo: Irish cattle + Irish grass & sunshine = probably the best beef in the world.

Junior Category Winner - Killian O'Neill

Killian O’Neill from Ardrahan, County Galway was the winner in the Junior Category.  Killian captioned his photograph: 'There was a cow calving on the other side of the wall and these cows lined up to offer support and keep an eye on proceedings!'.

Finalists

There were four finalists chosen also which were Ann Kyne, Co. Galway; Jack Connor, Co. Sligo; Cillian Murphy, Co. Mayo; and Aaron McGann, Co. Clare.  All entries were displayed at the National Beef Open Day.
