  • Matthew is farming in partnership with his father Declan 152Ha near Kells, Co. Meath of which 11Ha is rented.
  • In 2019, they milked 350 cows. The plan is to milk 320 cows and have a compact spring and autumn calving.

Overview of the Mullen Farm

In this video, Matthew explains that he is partaking in the programme to improve on managing the financial aspect of the business and also to be able to learn from the other programme participants by having the ability to visit their farms. Matthew would also like to increase cow numbers.
