- Shay is currently milking an average of 180 cows & has 45 replacement heifers.
- This year he went with the PPI grass Nashota and 1.5kgs white clover seed.

Second grazing rotation starting this week – still some paddocks in first round to be grazed.
Good calving season very busy first 6 weeks.
60 units of Nitrogen out – as fertiliser or half a bag of protected urea and 1.5 bags/acre of 18.6.12 +Sulphur
Closing cover in December was 660 AFC, 11th Feb 751 AFC so poor winter growth – as seen elsewhere covers declined a lot with cold weather in January.
