I am a laboratory technician at Johnstown Castle Research Centre where I work in Soil Reception.  I am responsible for the organisation and preparation of samples arriving into the laboratory.  I carry out organic matter analysis and prep samples for CN analysis.

Prior to my current position, I worked on the Terra Soil project, a collaboration between Geological Survey Ireland and Teagasc to produce information on nutrients, trace elements and soil texture where I worked in the soil analysis and spectroscopy labs.
