Placement Opportunities
Across our programme of research activities, we typically have multiple placement opportunities through the year for undergraduate and M.Sc students seeking to broaden their research experience. Depending on the requirements of the student's institution, placements are for a minimum of 12 weeks but can be up to 6 months.
Students who secure a placement opportunity will gain a unique insight into the various aspects of an applied research centre and the skills necessary for a scientific career. Our focus is to instil the basics of sound laboratory/field research into our training programme. Hence ensuring that students are exposed to an applied research environment but also enjoy their tenure here while making an invaluable contribution to our work programme.
Each year we welcome students from across Europe into what is already a diverse and inclusive work environment. For non-ERASMUS funded students, a limited number of paid placements are available and further details will be provided below later in the year.
