Nationwide Series of Information Meetings
Revised Forestry Programme 2014-2020
This nationwide series of information meetings runs from 12 March to 22 March 2018. All meetings start at 7.30pm. Please see table below for more information on meetings in your area. All are welcome.
Teagasc, in association with the Forest Service (DAFM) will provide details of the revised Forestry Programme 2014-2020 in a series of nationwide information meetings taking place between 12 March and 22 March.
These meetings present an excellent opportunity to hear first-hand of the scheme changes. They will be of interest to farmers and landowners considering the multiple benefits of forestry as well as current forest owners seeking to optimise their on-farm resource.
These revisions will provide attractive changes to the already wide range of forestry grant establishment and support schemes, providing enhanced incentives for afforestation and promoting active forest management and timber harvesting.
