The AGM of the Waterford Forest Owner Group will take place on Thursday 8 February in the Teagasc Office Dungarvan at 7.30pm. If you are a forest owner or might be interested in planting, you are welcome.

At this AGM, two tax consultants will discuss tax liabilities when selling timber standing, processed timber or when selling forest land. The tax consultants will also discuss inheritance tax. John Casey, Teagasc forestry adviser will give an update on ash dieback and discuss current regulations. An update on the changes to establishment grants and premiums will also be provided.
