Afforestation Scheme information meetings

From 10 to 19 October, all meetings starting at 7.30 pm

Teagasc has organised a nationwide series of information meetings where you can get the latest, up to date information on the new Afforestation Scheme 2023-2027.

These local, in-person information meetings are taking place from 10 to 19 October. All meetings are starting at 7.30 pm. See table below. 

Topics discussed include benefits and opportunities for you, selecting a forest type that suits you and how forestry interacts with other agricultural schemes. People will also have the opportunities to ask questions during an extensive question and answer session.

Teagasc strongly encourages all considering a new forest to attend. Important changes to the forestry grant structures have been introduced. These events will provide key details and insights for farmers and landowners considering new forest creation.
