Grass 10 Autumn Events
Preparing for 2020
The purpose of these events is to emphasise the importance of closing off strategy in the autumn in preparation for spring grass 2020. Farmers are invited to see research/demonstration farms first hand and receive updates on trials. The events are of particular value for discussion group members looking to update themselves on the latest research being carried out in Teagasc. The meetings will be short and concise dealing with autumn grazing management and update on grazing studies.

The Autumn Rotation Planner will help you to extend the grazing on your farm. By following the 60:40 planner you will ensure to have grass ready for Spring grazing in 2018. Its important to plan to begin closing off paddocks in the next couple of weeks as the majority of grass will be grown in Oct.
