Copper Deficencies

 

Barley

Spiralling young leaves (flag leaf in particular) an important diagnostic feature.   Shrivelling of leaf tips.  Copper deficiency frequently occurs following nitrogen application, reclamation of heathland, on peaty and sandy soils and thin organic soils over chalk
