About this course:
At Kildalton College, we offer a range of modules on a part time basis. These QQI modules are available for those who have already completed a Level 5 Certificate in Horticulture and want to further develop their horticultural knowledge but cannot commit to a full time course.
These modules may also suit those who have been working in the horticultural industry for a minimum of 3 years.
Aim of this course:
These component awards help students build on the horticultural knowledge they already have and develop their management knowledge and skills to further develop their competencies in the horticultural industry.
Modules are offered over a 16 week period from January to May each year. Students will attend between 3 hours or a full day per week depending on the module.
Entry Requirements: Applicants for Level 6 Component Award modules must have a Level 5 Certificate in Horticulture or have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience and a reference from their employer.
Applicants will also have to complete an interview as part of the application process.
