Students from Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences visit Johnstown Research Centre
For the second year, students from the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management within Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences visited the Johnstown Research Centre. They received updates on various aspects of the centre’s environmental research work including the catchments and visited the site in Castledockerell. On a very wet afternoon, colleagues explained the automated bankside analyser at the outlet and demonstrated a method for assessing bug life in a stream. This visit was part of a course led by Patrick Drohan and further information is available here.
