Data requests
Much of the data held by the Agricultural Catchments Programme (ACP) is of a sensitive nature and contributed voluntarily by participating farmers and land owners. For data sensitivity and intellectual property reasons, agreed procedures are in place for the collection, distribution, use and publication of this data.
Up to April 2021, over 80 documented requests for hydrochemometric, soil and geophysical data have been approved. The requests are classified as follows:
- 30 - student projects (14 within Teagasc)
- 30 - national research projects or investigations (11 directly to / funded by EPA, and 8 within Teagasc)
- 13 - international research collaboration
- 11 - other
Requests for data should be made using the completed appropriate forms and these can be got by contacting the Communications Officer or other team members.
