Community Meetings

In each priority area for action (PAA) a public information meeting is held and to which all members of the local community are invited. Water quality is impacted by a range of sources such as domestic waste water, forestry, industry, agriculture, etc. The purpose of the meeting is to provide the community with information on water in their local stream and help them to improve its quality. Both catchment assessment scientists and advisors attend these meetings.
