Join us for our half day workshop to discover the wonder of Chocolate. Teagasc New Product Development and Sensory experts will bring you through the chocolate journey, from start to finish.

This virtual course will be delivered using a mix of talks, videos and question & answer sessions.

Who is this virtual workshop designed for?

  • Anyone with an interest in finding out how chocolate is made, both from small scale to larger scale production
  • Entrepreneurs and small producers wishing to build their knowledge in relation to the manufacture of chocolate
  • Artisan producers who have recently started their chocolate production journey
  • Commercial chocolate manufacturing staff who would like to update their knowledge

Course Venue & Fee

The fee for this event is €450 per participant (€190 for those eligible for funding from The Rural Food Skillnet).

Skillnet Ireland Eligibility Criteria

Participating businesses must be from private enterprise based in the Republic of Ireland. Sole traders are eligible as Member Companies. Skillnet Ireland funding is NOT available to public sector bodies or organisations that are publicly funded such as community-based not-for-profit companies or charities.
