Teagasc researchers Peter Doyle and Nicky Byrne join Catherine Egan on the latest Beef Edge podcast to give an update on the suckler and dairy-beef herds in Grange, what research is currently ongoing and what’s happening at the National Beef Open Day, BEEF2024 on Wednesday, June 26.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Securing your future’ and Teagasc is delighted to invite all beef farmers and stakeholders in the Irish beef industry to the event. The focus of BEEF2024 will be on the application of technologies that will help beef farmers increase the profitability and environmental sustainability of their family farm businesses.
BEEF2024 will be hosted on a new site on the farm, with a new and improved layout and structure on the day. It is a free event and all are welcome to attend. BEEF2024 is on Wednesday, June 26, from 9:00am to 4:00pm in Teagasc, Grange, Eircode: C15 PW93, and is a day not to be missed. Teagasc acknowledges with gratitude the support of FBD Trust who will be available on the day to meet attendees at BEEF2024.
