National Crops Forum 2020
This year due to Covid19 restrictions the annual National Crops Forum will take place virtually. The Forum will take place over two evenings on September 10th and 17th from 6.30pm to 7.30pm each evening.
Part One - Thursday September 10th
The first evening of the National Crops Forum will focus on the following:
- Cereal varieties available this year
- BYDV Tolerance - New Varietal Technology
- Agronomy issues for 2020.
All the speakers will answer questions towards the end of the session.
Part Two - Thursday September 17th
The second evening of the National Crops Forum will look at how the Green Deal and Farm to Fork policies may affect the tillage industry.
The forum will hear from:
- Professor Michael Wallace on the current impact of the Tillage sector in Ireland
- Donal Fitzgerald, Chair of Tillage Stakeholders group discussing - Crops 2030, a strategic plan for the Crops sector.
All the speakers will answer questions towards the end of the session.
