Teagasc Crop Forum 2022

After being delivered virtually for the past two years, the annual Teagasc Crop Forum will return this year as a hybrid event with an option to attend in person or tune in online. It will take place from 2-5 pm on Thursday 8th September at the Killashee House Hotel, Naas. Register to attend here


The themes of this year’s Crop Forum will be:

  • CAP in a tillage context
  • Reducing financial risk on tillage farms

The forum will conclude with a discussion forum with contributors from across the sector.



Session 1:  2pm 

  • Varieties for 2023 DAFM
  • Agronomy issues for 2023

  • Launch of the Machinery Sharing template
    Shay Phelan, Teagasc
  • Launch of promoting digital recording by farmers in conjunction with Farm plan
    Ben Hatton, Farm Plan

Session 1 will conclude with a Q&A with the speakers

Focusing on the challenges facing the industry in the coming year and the effects of the CAP 2023 and the new environment schemes.
