Organic Webinar - Galway Clare - Is organic farming an option for your farm?

On Wednesday 16th March at 2pm the Galway/Clare Region will have a webinar on Organic Farming and the new Organic Farming Scheme 2022. Titled: Is Organic farming an Option for Your farm? and hosted by Glen Corbett, Advisor, Teagasc Tuam it will contain a strong horticultural focus, not to be missed
The webinar will feature a pre-recorded video with Kenneth Keavey, owner of Green Earth Organics, Corrandulla, Co Galway. Also there will be a very informative and interesting video recording with Joe Larkin from Larkin Polytunnels on how to set up your own polytunnel (a beginners guide).
Green Earth Organics
Kenneth Keavey and his wife Jenny went fully Organic in 2006 on their small holding, growing field vegetables. Over time they created their company Green Earth Organics and expanded and now are farming on 40 acres of organically certified land and have 7 polytunnels in operation. Another 10 acres is split between wildlife/biodiversity areas, native woodland and beehives. They employ 45 people in their Company that deals with their busy online sales business and the other part of the business which is selling wholesale, mainly to the Dublin market.
