The Signpost Series - The BRIDE Project
On the latest episode of The Signpost Series, which took place on Friday, 23rd April, Mark Gibson, Teagasc ConnectEd is joined by Donal Sheehan, Manager of the BRIDE Project to give an overview of the Project, results-based payments and how farmers can be rewarded for environmental improvement.
Donal discusses how farmers can be rewarded for making changes towards becoming a more environmentally friendly farm. Pat Murphy, Head of Teagasc Environment KT Programme with Teagasc also joined the webinar and facilitated the questions and answers session.
The BRIDE project is an innovative agri-environment project based in the river Bride catchment in North East Co. Cork and West Waterford. The aim of the BRIDE project is to design and implement a result based approach to conserve, enhance and restore habitats in low and intensive farmland.
