Have you considered a career in agriculture? You may be interested in this webinar, held as part of NEFERTITI Farm Attractiveness Week, which takes place from November 7th to 12th. Register for the webinar, taking place on Tuesday, 9th November at 2pm here.

This event will focus on collaborative farming as an entry route into farming and the importance of developing support networks to further your career.

Gordon Peppard, Teagasc Collaborative Farming Specialist will give an overview of the most common collaborative farming arrangements used on Irish farms.

Recent new entrants to dairy farming Paul Bowden and Laura Hannon will discuss their education, returning to join the family farm and their experiences of collaborative farming.

Paul and Laura will also discuss their involvement in establishing young farmer discussion groups and the benefits of participating these groups.

The event will conclude with a panel discussion on the issues raised during the webinar.
