Teagasc National Farm Survey Sustainability Report - 2019 Webinar

Sustainability is at the core of Agricultural Policy both in Ireland and in the European Union. Join Teagasc researchers to learn about the Economic, Environmental and Social Sustainability of Irish Agriculture, including outcomes for 2019.

Teagasc Director Professor Gerry Boyle, Trevor Donnellan, Head of Agricultural Economics and Farm Surveys Department, Teagasc and Cathal Buckely Teagasc Economist will launch the Teagasc National Farm Survey Sustainability Report - 2019 at this webinar.

The webinar will report on the latest sustainability assessment for Irish Agriculture covering Economic, Social and Environmental Metrics, using nationally representative data from the Teagasc National Farm Survey.

Deriving a sustainability indicator set is difficult, as it requires detailed, accurate and consistent farm-level measurements and data across a wide range of physical, socioeconomic and demographic farm attributes. The Teagasc National Farm Survey (NFS) provides such a dataset.
