Teagasc Virtual College Open Days 2021
During March, Teagasc courses were promoted through virtual open days at it's four agricultural and horticultural colleges and two of the private colleges. One open day remains to be held at Salesian Agricultural College on 15th April. Now is your chance to catch up with any you may have missed here
Teagasc held a series of virtual events for prospective applicants to its full-time Level 5 agriculture, horticulture, equine and forestry courses during the month of March 2021. Attendees were shown behind the scenes footage of college educational facilities and farm enterprises, had the opportunity to hear testimonials from past students and joined a live Q&A session.
Topics discussed included:
- the application process
- course content and elective subjects
- progression to other courses
- student maintenance grants and
- work experience arrangements

Salesian Agricultural College Pallaskenry will host a Virtual College Open Day at 7pm on Thursday the 15 April. Featuring a live panel discussion with lecturers followed by a Q&A session, testimonials from past students and excellent video footage of our practical training facilities and all of the college farm enterprises.
