New Teagasc Regional Reviews Published
Teagasc has published Reviews for each of the 12 Teagasc Advisory Regions. The reviews give an overview of the range of the agricultural and farming sectors in each region. The supporting advisory activities and education courses provided by Teagasc are also highlighted and available in the reviews.

New study demonstrates the effect of pasture versus concentrate diets on the aroma of raw bovine milk
New research from Teagasc and University College Cork has demonstrated that the odour of raw milk is both directly and indirectly influenced by bovine diet. The study, published in Frontiers in Nutrition, is the first to demonstrate the direct transfer of aroma from diet to milk

Something to cheers to: the value in beer waste
Teagasc researchers are working with the University of Helsinki to find ways to turn spent grain waste from beer production into functional food ingredients. Brewer’s Spent Grain (or BSG) is a waste product of the brewing industry, but it’s rich in fibre, protein and vitamins.
