Hardwood Focus Webinar 2020

The Hardwood Focus webinar was held by Teagasc’s Forestry Development Department in association with Limerick and Tipperary Woodland Owners (LTWO) and the Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine (DAFM) on Thursday, 15 October 2020.

The theme of this virtual event was to explore markets for small-diameter broadleaves. The webinar featured a broadleaf woodland owner, three presentations by a forestry adviser, a furniture maker and a sawmill manager. All three have extensive expertise working with hardwoods. The panellists then answered a wide range of questions during a live Q&A session.
